A2 Music Video: Storyboard Video

Storyboard Video
After putting together our storyboard, we decided to make it in to a video in the form a slideshow to display how we would like our video to look so that we can have a better understanding of how we will shoot the video, and we will have a reference we can look at whilst filming.

A2 Music Video: Storyboard Draft
A2 Music Video:
Storyboard Draft
We used post it notes to create a draft storyboard
We done this by listening to the song and drawing on post it notes as to what will happen in that shot, using the music to choreograph how the video will look.
We used post it notes in this way so that we can easily re arrange the order of the video and easily change the post it note if we do not like how it is.
(The order of the post it goes from left to right)

A2 Music Video: Experimental Editing
A2 Music Video
Experimental Editing
We experimented the use of some different editing techniques in Final Cut Pro, and this video is the result.
We learnt how to changed the speed of a video clip, how to crop, rotate and scale a video clip, how to create and add colour corrections and how to edit jump shots.
We not only learnt how to use these editing techniques but we learnt why we would use them. For example, to use slow motion to emphasise an action. The use of a black and white colour correction to add to the dull atmosphere of the video content. Using jump cuts to break up "boring" sections of the video.
